What is Ustaad Ki Ladli Beti?

Ustaad Ki Ladli Beti was introduced in September 2020 as Phase II of the Ustaad initiative to support the education of daughters of truck drivers during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The initiative emerged from conversations with truck drivers that revealed how financial difficulties were affecting their families and disrupting their daughters' education.

Through scholarship assistance and encouragement, the campaign sought to help girls continue their studies and pursue their aspirations.

Scholarship Support

Supporting Education When It Mattered Most

The programme opened for applications on 11 September 2020 and announced scholarship assistance for eligible daughters of truck drivers.

₹2,500 for girls studying in Classes 9–12.
₹2,000 for girls studying up to Class 8.
The first 200 eligible applications were to be considered.
