About the Campaign
Road Safety Builds Brighter Futures
Awareness Is the First Step Towards Safer Roads.
For truck drivers, the road is more than a route between destinations.
It is their workplace, their responsibility, and an important part of
their everyday lives.
Through the Ustaad Road Safety Awareness initiative, efforts were made
to encourage responsible driving, strengthen safety awareness, and bring
drivers, transport unions, and industry stakeholders together.
A key awareness programme was organised on
8 September 2018 at Transport Nagar, Muzaffarnagar,
Uttar Pradesh, focusing on road safety, the wellbeing of truck
drivers, and the revival of meaningful truck slogans.
The campaign also engaged transport communities across Derabassi,
Paonta Sahib, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kala Amb, Chandigarh, and
surrounding regions.
